Installation

The Audio Meter does not need access to your internet/Wi-Fi. It has its own on-board connectivity (just check your phone has 2G, 3G or 4G signal, if it does, the Audio Meter should have signal) and delivers global coverage straight out of the box. This means that once plugged in, the Audio Meter is connected, recognising music and uploading to the cloud in real-time, using its own connection.

No, our Audio Meters need a power source in order to function effectively. If you need to relocate your device, please ensure that the light (found on the top of the device) is green once it has been plugged back in.

When the Audio Meter is working it should be displaying green light. If there is a red light, please follow the steps found in the FAQ ‘What should I do if there is a red light on the Audio Meter?’

If there is a red light appearing on your Audio Meter, unplug it for 15 seconds and then reconnect it to the power. Wait a few moments to see if the red light returns to green. If it stays on red, please contact support@audoo.com for further directions.

Additionally, Audio Meters have been designed to never store or transmit any audio, which provides an additional layer of security.

The public performance data captured by our Audio Meters is sent safely and securely to Performing Rights Organisations (PRO) and Collective Management Organisation (CMO) partners only. This is so our partners can distribute public performance royalties with improved accuracy, based on real-world data.

Yes, our Audio Meter is fully GDPR compliant. No sensitive information is used in any of our processing and no audio is ever stored on device, or transmitted from it. For more details, check out our privacy policy.
