Audoo – technology solution revolutionising performance royalties – has announced its expansion to the North of the UK, opening an office at the new creative destination, Tileyard North.

14th June 2023

Audoo is amongst the first businesses joining the community at the previously known Rutland Mills, in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

A previous resident of Tileyard London, Audoo was created in 2018 by CEO & Founder, Ryan Edwards with a vision to create a more accurate system for compensating artists and composers.

In under 4 years Audoo has garnered a very impressive international presence, having deployed their technology in over 10 countries, across 4 continents. So you would be forgiven for thinking Audoo could be located anywhere but Ryan Edwards CEO would be quick to tell you, they are very proud to be a British based operation. While HQ is based in London, Audoo truly embraces the hybrid working approach with colleagues located across the UK.

Ryan Edwards CEO said:

“From the beginning I have always been focused on attracting the very best talent to the Audoo mission. For me, geography should play a very limited role in that decision, if indeed one at all. This is why we have an amazing 30+ team spread the length and breadth of the country. That however does sometimes pose a challenge when we need to collaborate in person. What we have learnt, growing as a company throughout the pandemic is, trust your talented team to deliver and giving them a dedicated workspace is an essential component to this. As we have seen the team organically grow in the North, finding such a space had become a priority for us. So when Paul [Tileyard North Co-Founder] mentioned to me about your Northern expansion, having been part of the Tileyard family in London for number of years, we signed up without hesitation.”

Tileyard Co-Founder, Nick Keynes, shared his excitement for the northern hub of Audoo, adding:

“Audoo are a very exciting edition to our Northern community and it makes for a great story in that we have been long term advocates, supporters (and indeed investors) of Audoo. We are delighted to welcome this great business into our Tileyard North community and very much look forward to continuing this exciting journey together.”
